I'm so excited that summer is here! I'm so ready to break out more bright colors, sheer tops, breezy fabrics and of course...summer dresses :) While passing through a Target in the mall to actually find another outfit, I saw this cute striped high-low dress...and for $19.99 I just couldn't pass it up! I paired it with some linked-gold accessories and comfy two toned wedges. Perfect for a beautiful cali day in the sun :)

I am totally new to Polyvore but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I find that I'm almost starting to get a little obsessed with it! I am SO loving colored skinnies right now! They add instant umph to even the driest of outfits. I decided to pull out the fire red ones for a night on the town with one of my girls and matched it with a red lip. A chunky statement necklace and sexy high heels was all I needed to complete the look. Hmmmm...wondering what color shall I try next? lol

I was kind of sceptical of how the floral trend would look on me, but when I saw this blazer at the thrift store a few weeks back for $1 I thought what the heck? Why not? I decided to wear it out for brunch on Sunday and  paired it with all black, a turquoise necklace to accent the colors in the blazer and nude flats. I actually liked my floral outfit concoction more than I thought I would, they say don't knock it till you try it, right? :)

I went out this weekend and had a few drinks with fam and friends to celebrate my birthday. We ended up chillin out at Tantalum a cool and chic restaurant off the water. When I say I had a ball it would be an understatement. I wore all black, accented with gold statement pieces and a touch of leopard. I also changed the do' up, and opted for bone straight tresses, which were a hit! And according to WhoWhatWear bone straight hair is trending right now. I never considered straight hair to be a trend, but hey, i'll take it lol.

I really can't believe that summer is already here! We are getting that perfect Cali weather right now, so I am taking full advantage. I wanted to wear something cool, light and casual this day so I reached in my closet for this thrifted number that I got a while back. I love the bright tangerine/coral type color and fabric. It's a little oversized, but nothing a cute little belt cant fix...and for under $2 who's  really complaining?! Not me! I swear...I'll forever love the thrift store!

Oh and before I forget, I found this cute little necklace from my friend Leslie over at Fashion Du Jour. She featured the designers, Demabiz, on her blog and I had to jump on it! They have SO many cute pieces yall and they are super affordable. So affordable, that I have a few more necklaces waiting in the cut to debut..lol. Check them out!
