Ok, so this weekend was really special to me because I got a chance to celebrate with one of my good friends on the birth of her new baby boy! Since, in my mind, I was going to your “typical” babyshower…I kept it simple with a respectable (lol) pleated button up that I thrifted, black skinnies and a pop of turquoise blue with my chunky heels. I threw on a mini statement necklace and gold watch to complete the look. Well…let me tell you, I couldn’t have been more mistaken… this was NOT your typical babyshower! It was more like a house party, club and fashion show mixed in one! I teased her all night long (yes night lol) saying THIS IS NOT A BABYSHOWER…THIS IS A PARTY! Lol….well needless to say I had a ball…and am extremely happy for my boo. I can’t wait to see TT’s lil fine sexy man :)
I absolutely LOVE being in the nude…colors that is! (hehe) I can’t help but to embrace the brown, nude, beige and gold family. Salmon, peach, coral and burnt orange come in at a very close second. I love these colors with my makeup, home décor and most of all clothing! This is why I am SO excited for the fall! I would consider this outfit of the night to be my first outfit of the season. I found these camel colored skinnies and sheer tan top at rainbow, and paired it with a leopard bra (for a little sexiness), simple gold accessories and nude heels. I felt great this night and I can’t wait to experiment some more with the colors of the season!

Hi I'm missneek. I love fashion but I can never seem to get more hits than misses... lol... So I just leave it to the professionals like you. :-) I like this look a lot because it was my first attempt at color blocking and even though it was very subtle,I got quite a few compliments that night. :-) thanks for listening!

Hi, my name is Ingrid. I wore this outfit to a birthday party. I love black but thought i could bring some life to the outfit with orange. I am a sz20- love my curves- nothing stops me from believing I deserve to be sexy, classy & confident. My mushroom haircut i copied from MaryJ a few years ago..still love it. The jacket and shorts I've had for awhile but never wore them together. Newest items are necklace H&M £4, bag- ASOS £8 and shoes £25 all sale items :) got to love summer sale!!! I hope u vote for me....teamcurvy & confident.
If I had to pick just 1 summer outfit, it would be this grapefruit colored dress, which I paired with a black&white color block blazer, black all stars, and gold accessories. I love this outfit because its a hint of sexy with the fitted dress showing legs, a hint of classy with the blazer, and a hint of playful with the tennis shoes. I wore it to a kid birthday party and a baby shower making it very functional!
This is my Favorite Summer Look. I ordered these shoes from ASOS and I had no idea what I would wear them with, but...I found something! Also, this is the day I volunteered with Khocolate Keepsakes; an organizations which supports children's literacy.
It's less than 60 days to the big presidential election, so get your practice in now! Vote for your favorite summer look out of these beautiful LNL readers :)Voting ends a week from today on September 18th at 5:00pm, and the winner gets this beautiful peach leopard clutch! Thanks for participating ladies and good luck!!!
Sometimes a girl just needs to put on jeans and a tee. This was one of those days. On my way to shop, I decided to keep it simple and wear my favorite stonewashed jeans (yall should know these by now lol) and a knitted crop top. The top has little see-through holes in them, so it was nice, light-weight and breathable for all this heat we have been having in Cali. I wore the most comfy heels in my closet, some nude strappy sandals, and added a touch of leopard with my over-the-shoulder bag. And thats it! Hope you ladies had a great summer, now let's gear up for fall!
