Throwback "Celebrity Inspired" Post

After finding this beautiful young lady randomly while internet surfing… I saw that even though I had never seen her a day in my life she was in my brain, lol. I did this look back in April and we are virtually wearing the same exact outfit. Though there were some small differences in our outfit the main difference is that I’m plus size, bbw, thick, curvy, whatever you like to call it lol...and she is straight size. After posting this picture on my Facebook page. I was inspired to start a new feature called “Same Fit Done Thick”. A lot of times curvy or plus size women feel that they can’t “pull off” the same styles and outfits as straight size women do. I want to show the contrary. Hey Ladies! Hope this past week has treated you well J  So, I was meeting my friend for lunch and then heading to Sephora to do a little make up shopping this day. I wanted to wear my red skinnies, but wondered how I could make them more fall appropriate? So, in the spirit of fall transitioning… I paired them with a neutral top and heels. I added touch of animal print to pull it all together. Overall, I like how It all came together…but who knew fashion involved critical thinking? Lol. How has your fall transitioning been going?

Happy Monday ladies! The weekend is over and its back to the grind. So....I never really post outfit's of the day from the office, but today I wanted to try something a little different. So, here is a little bit of my office style. This day I was presenting, so I wanted to keep it polished and professional but still add a splash of my personality with thin gold hoops and a red envelope clutch. I must admit that I do find it more difficult to put things together for work, than for personal outings. So, I definitely like to look around for inspiration. I’m Straight.

Hey honey’s I missed you! It’s been a couple weeks. So, I’m back with a new outfit of the day and, if you haven’t noticed, a new do’. Yes…I’m done with the curlies for now ladies. I was SO ready to change it up and I am  back to straight tresses for the fall. Isn’t it great that us women have the freedom to completely change up our hair, makeup, etc. to become this new person? lol. Anyhoo…today’s outfit of the day features my fave black skinny jeans of all time, (I swear I’m going to run these things to the ground lol), taupe sheer top, black sexy heels with cream trim and some of my favorite gold jewelry pieces to polish off the look. Cool with a little sex appeal was the motto this day…and a little change helped me execute that. So…have any of you changed your hair up for the fall? If so, what did you opt for? Inquiring minds want to know… :)
