Color in Winter? Yes please! I’m a total sucker for a bodycon midi dress…especially a printed one.  So, when I got this “Twiggy” dress in the mail from Bagladieink I was totally obsessed! Since this piece is full of color I decided to pair it with nude heels. If you want the dress to be the total focal point you could stop here. Or if you are not afraid of more color you can add a complimenting coat like I did on the last looks. I love color and the way this look came together. It made me feel fun, vibrant and sexy ;) With that said, I gotta say…YES to the dress!

Happy Monday boo’s! Hope you had a great weekend as we head back to the grind. I don’t know about your area, but it’s really starting to get chilly in the LA. For some people our idea of cold isn’t really cold, but anything under 60 degrees is a problem lol. So with all the rain and spurts of cold weather I decided I needed some new items to keep me warm. One of the items I picked up was a faux leather hoodie with cotton sleeves in an oxblood and grey color {posted on my IG @lacenleopard} and the other was this black faux leather jacket that I absolutely love! Sometimes faux leather could look really fake, so I was happy to find a jacket that I loved the texture, the look and fit.

On this day, I was going for an edgy yet chic look.  So, I decided to pair it up with a black and gold sequin top with sheer paneling and some black skinnies. I completed the look with my tan lace up boots and a black gold studded bag. I loved the way everything came out and look forward to being creative with my closet as the weather changes. Sweater Weather.

Sweater & Jeans: Fashion Ave | Boots: Previously owned

Ok, so I'm not a huge sweater wearer...but its friggin' freezin! And I figured unless I want to go for a layered look or wear a jacket...a sweater is my best bet lol. Recently, I've been getting into them more though... with all the cute designs and prints. Like when I saw this one, with the cut outs in the sleeves, I had to have it. It was definitely the details that drew me to this one. Not to mention, its soft and comfy. I decided to pair it with some dark blue skinnies and taupe lace up boots. I finished the look up with simple gold hoops and gold knuckle rings. Which are my fave! Can't wait to get some more. So, what do you plan to wear more of this winter season?
