What’s fashion without the risk?? Sometimes you just have to be bold and out the box and that might involve showing a little skin!! It’s still mid 80’s to 90’s in Cali so the Fall season hasn’t exactly registered in my brain yet. So for this look, I decided to turn an oversized shirt that my mom gave me into a dress. I see straight size women turn shirts into dresses all the time, but not so much for us plus size ladies. I wanted to show that it can be done, and done well! If I do say so myself! ;)
I instantly loved the pattern of my makeshift dress. It reminds me of blue flames, or Indian feathers or maybe the waves of the ocean. I love that you could get lost in the print and color is so vibrant! I finished the look off with some simple black pumps and my favorite half tinted sunglasses. I hope that you liked this look and tell me…what fashion risk have you taken lately?
Tip: If you want to try this type of look, but don’t want to get too risky (hehe ;)) you can always opt for a longer top or wear a cute pair of patterned stockings underneath.
Much love,
