Hello loves, here is a little mid-week outfit inspiration for you! Ok, so I haven’t seen a horror flick in ages. Mainly because I’m a scary cat and I just don’t like them. However, I built up the courage to go see Sinister 2 and it ended up not being as bad as I thought. Good company always makes things a little better right? Ease Into Fall

Ok, let's face it. Summer is almost over! The heat may remain, in some places, but the fashion is definitely changing. So as your top retail stores switch gears, in preparation for Fall, here are a few tips to make the transition a little easier.

A cute backpack in place of your traditional purse can give you a fun and carefree look during the summer months, but can also serve a dual purpose as it carries your essentials or school books in the Fall.

A pair of neutral booties like these from Charlotte Russe look great in the summer with a boho style dress or a pair of cute shorts, but can also transition well into fall months with your favorite pair of dark colored skinny jeans.

A lace box tee is light and airy enough to wear during the heat but is a great base for any fall items like oxblood skinnies, olive green pants or a floor length skirt.

I don’t know what’s going on in California but it feels like summer just officially started this past week! It had been in the mid 90’s or high 80’s all weekend. 

I’m not a person who is here for the heat…So, I had to pull out the short shorts and tank tops. It’s like my heat wave uniform. I got a few stares, but was like what?? Don’t act like you never seen thunda thighs before! ;)

Curvy Beach Meetup

It’s one thing to be social media friends, but it’s another thing to meet up close and personal! I am so excited to announce my very FIRST meet up with fellow LA bloggers @IvoryJinelle and @CurvesandChaos going down this weekend! Directions: Take the Santa Monica Freeway 10West until it turns into PCH. Head North on PCH and park in parking lot #7. You will find a cafe and beach rentals at this location. Walk straight onto the beach and you will us near the shore. If the lot is full, parking lot #6 is close as well.

Fit & Flow

Today’s post is all about paisley prints & handkerchief hems! I am absolutely in love with the fit and flow of this dress. I’m all for a good bodycon, occasionally, but sometimes you want to just relax and not whip out the shapewear and girdles. This dress, from Rainbow, is perfect for those kind of days –brunch with the girlfriends or a casual dinner date.

Since this piece is full of prints and color, I decided to keep my accessories relatively simple and focus on the trace amounts of black in it.

I complimented the dress with a black fringe shoulder bag, from forever 21, and my go-to strappy heels.

I finished off the look with a little edge and added bold blue lips and blue-mirrored aviators.
